Our Team

Our experienced team warmly greets each person as they walk in and coordinate engaging activities throughout the day.

Ashley Butterfield

Operations Coordinator

Ashley moved to Bath about a year ago after many years in school administration in New Hampshire and spent 2023 as a Field Coordinator with the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.
As a former private caregiver and current caregiver for her mother she understands how important programs like ours have been to her family.

Cathy Bagdon

Senior Program Manager

Cathy has over 30 years experience working with seniors – in direct companion care and as the previous owner of a long time elder assistance service in the Brunswick area.

She is skilled at evaluating and supporting individual needs. Fascinated with people, she is able to connect positively and relate to people where ever they are on their journey.

Her goal at The Club is to provide a nurturing, safe environment with engaging and stimulating activities which will result in a positive experience for each member.

Cathy’s hobbies are baking, gardening and hiking.

Cindy Hughes

Program Manager

Cindy has over 40 years of experience working with seniors. As a CNA in her early years, and after a break to raise her family, she chose to work with those living with dementia. She has worked in private care as well as CRMA, Office Secretary, and Activities co-ordinator at The Garden, a warm, caring facility for those living with dementia. Her goal is to provide a fun, safe environment where ideas and memories come together to provide for conversation, interaction as a group, sharing, and laughter. Cindy enjoys reading, crafts, and travel.

Nancy MacPhee

Program Manager

Nancy brings years of adult experiential programming to “The Club”. She has worked with Opportunity Alliance, Maine Medical Center and New England Cancer Specialists.

She incorporates games, movement, and activities created to facilitate social experiences and stimulate creativity and imagination.

When she is not sharing her wealth of experience and her positivity at “The Club”, she is busy conducting wellness workshops through the organization she founded, Adventure Play. Among her published books is Adventure, Play, Peace: Insights and Activities for Social-Emotional Learning.

Our Board of Directors

Executive Director Gri Font-Mason, Organizational Psychologist with experience in Hospice and Aging Service, works closely with our Board of Directors to ensure we offer the best possible services to our participants and their families.  Some of our Board members became involved with the Respite Care program because their loved ones attended the Senior Day program and they wanted to ensure the continuation of services to the community. The Board’s capacity is outstanding and we have former researchers, scientists, analysts, and state representatives, as well as a current director at a top memory care center in Maine and certified by The National Institute for Dementia Education in care for people living with various forms of Dementia.
