Place: Virtual via Zoom
Date: every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month
Time: 10:30am-11:30am

Community Education
We are strong advocates for both those experiencing issues arising from loss of memory and aging. Therefore we actively work towards raising community awareness by sponsoring programs to educate families and community members in the MidCoast Maine area.
Primary areas of focus are Senior Care, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, communication techniques, behavior assessment, elder abuse, support and counseling.

Carefree Cafe
Several times a year, in conjunction with The Highlands or MidCoast Senior Health, we offer a “brunch” for caregivers and their family member with cognitive issues.
This is a wonderful opportunity for participants and caregivers to meet other families involved with our Senior Day Program. A restaurant style setting designed to make attendees feel comfortable in a social setting.
